Announcement Regarding Fraud in Visa Applications

Caution and due diligence are advised against certain mischievous individuals claiming to be working for Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and/or this Embassy and demanding certain amounts of money under visa/deposit fees especially for working visa applications.

The Consular Section of this Embassy does not work with any intermediatory agency/individual for visa applications. Visa applications for Turkey should be made online (www.visa.gov.tr) first and the applicants are expected to personally apply to the Consular Section after securing an appointment date and time together with the necessary documents.

This Embassy does not whatsoever collect any deposit fees etc. except for the visa fees (Single entry visas: 60 $; Working visas: 465$).

Please be aware of and disregard such suspicious demands and notify the Consular Section of this Embassy through e-mail (embassy.manila@mfa.gov.tr).
