Advisory: Additional Restrictions, Closures and Full-Time Curfew to be Implemented From 19 April to 17 May 2021 in Turkey

The Government of Turkey announced additional restrictions and closures to stop the spread of Covid-19, including a full-time curfew throughout Turkey, starting at 7:00 p.m. on 29 April 2021 and ending at 5:00 a.m. on 17 May 2021, encompassing weekdays and weekends.

Foreign travellers who are in Turkey for short trips and tourism are exempt from the curfews. However, foreigners who live in Turkey as residents are subject to the curfew restrictions.

There will be no travel restrictions or visa suspension for the citizens of the Philippines.

Following requirements will continue to remain in effect:

All international passengers who are 6 years and older traveling to Turkey are required to have taken a COVID-19 PCR test with a negative result within 72 hours prior to their flight. Passengers must submit their test results to the airline at the time of check-in. Passengers failing to submit a negative PCR test will not be permitted to board the flight to Turkey. This requirement will remain in effect until March 1, 2021.

All international passengers who are 6 years and older traveling to Turkey are required to fill out “Form for Entry to Turkey” at “http://register.health.gov.tr” within the last 72 hours before their flights.

Transit/transfer passengers via Turkey as well as the crew are exempted from both requirements stated above.
